RingFollow lets hunters report the game-farm rings they find on a pheasant or partridge, and lets the fédérations départementales des chasseurs (FDC), France's departmental hunters' federations, validate those recoveries. Every department has its own page: public figures once its federation tracks its rings here and the threshold of 3 releases is reached, otherwise the key facts and what to do.
What a federation does on RingFollow
- It validates the recoveries reported by hunters: GIBIS never moderates.
- It follows its ringed releases, the recovery rate and how far the birds disperse.
- It gives each ACCA (approved communal hunting association) a private tracking page and exports its data.
- The public only ever sees totals per department, never a municipality, an ACCA or a hunter.
